Drywall FAQ

When should I repair drywall vs. replace it entirely?

The significance of the water damage or the size of the hole will determine whether the drywall gets repaired or replaced. Typically, if the water damage is extensive or the hole in the drywall is larger than 6 inches in diameter, a new sheet will need to be installed.

What is your process when making a drywall repair?

If a repair is required due to water damage, we apply KILZ primer to the affected area. For large cracks or open seams, we use mesh tape to patch and bond. Once the primer has dried and the tape is in place, we apply one to two coats of joint compound, sand to a smooth finish, and add texture to match.

Are you a licensed and insured drywall contractor?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured for both drywall repair and replacement. Listed under R-34 Painting and Wall Coverings, we are a proud member of the Arizona Registry of Contractors (ROC). Our license number is #329827.
